All teachers follow our studio-set curriculum for acting classes to ensure continuity and help students progress successfully.

ACTING I, II and III

Students will learn how to:

• build a character
• create relationships with other characters
• put on a production for TV or stage
• incorporate props & costumes
• move on the stage
• work on camera
• create basic scripts
  

Classes will enhance:

• your child's confidence
• reading skills
• ability to express emotions
• memorization skills
• and creative thinking.

Acting I - III  classes culminate with a finale that we call "The KAD MADHouse Show!" This is an all original program written, filmed, and produced by the students and faculty of the Academy. The final show is filmed and shown on our special website, in house, and social media networks.

Unlike a theatre production where only a few students are able to highlight their skills, The KAD MADHouse Show! allows for ALL of the participants to shine as writers, actors, puppet performers, dancers, and singers.

Puppet characters like “Sharkey,” “Gorgeous the Ballerina,” and “Howie Clamshell of MADHouse SPORTS,” will regularly interact with the youngest of students while our older actors will showcase their skills as the primary script writers.
