Kenosha Academy of Performing Arts performance!

Annual Winter Progress Performance

KAPA's Winter Progress Performance is your opportunity to experience your student's progress firsthand. This is a very informal, fun, onstage experience that the whole family can enjoy! All classes are included; however, individual participation is optional as it is the holiday season. There are no costumes, theatrical sets or specialized lighting for this performance. Students wear their class uniform. It is a great way for new dancers to get comfortable with being on stage!

Annual Spring Recital

Each June we end our season with our fully-staged, professional Annual Spring Dance Recital. We encourage, but do not require, participation.

Recital dates and show times are published in the October newsletter. Specific show assignments are published in the March newsletter. Specific rehearsal assignments are published in the April newsletter.

Special requests to adjust rehearsal and recital times are accepted until February 1st. We attempt to accommodate every school's activities while meeting the technical demands of the show. Our priority is to prepare your children for the performance experience of a lifetime!

The Nutcracker

Kenosha Academy of the Performing Arts presents a production of The Nutcracker annually. This Ballet will have a cast of approximately 50 dancers. There are roles for male and female dancers ages 6 & up. Directors are looking for a combination of technique, musicality, story telling and passion for classical dance. Placement is by audition and based on the dancer's strengths and development potential. There are many opportunities to volunteer on productions including props, sets & costume construction. Don't miss out on your chance to bring a story to life through dance!
