Teen Intermediate Ballet:

We get it, kids are BUSY! This class is for the student who has completed Ballet 1 & Ballet 2 and has been promoted to Ballet 3, but can't commit to 2 classes per week. Students should expect to spend a 2 -3 years in this class. Tween Intermediate Ballet follows the same syllabus as our Ballet 3 but moves at a slightly slower rate since students attend once a week.

Teen Beginner Ballet:

Not everyone starts dancing in elementary school! Our Teen program is designed for the 11 years old and up who is at a beginning level. Teen classes are also great for dancers who are so busy that they cannot commit to the 2x a week that is required in our graded level classes.

Teen Jazz:

Teen Jazz is designed for the beginning through intermediate Jazz student. The class is designed for 11 years and up to make dancers feel more comfortable than if they were in a young child beginner level class. This class explores the art of Jazz dancing, incorporating many different styles of jazz . Each class focuses on style, technique, placement, conditioning, stretching, turns, leaps and choreography. This class is ideal for students with no prior dance experience, but may also be suitable for students with 3 months or more of prior Jazz experience, as it offers enough challenging combinations for those experienced dancers.

Teen Contemporary:

Contemporary Dance combines ballet, jazz and modern techniques. Dancers learn choreography centered on feeling and emotion, and movements characterized by fluidity and grace, set to a diverse spectrum of music. This dance technique is designed to develop the mind, body and spirit to be an expressive communicator through movement. Structured technical exercises that condition the body for strength, coordination and flexibility are developed. Physical activities which focus on the aspects of space, time, shape, and movement dynamics are explored through individual work as well as group participation. A weekly ballet class is highly recommended as a companion to this class.
